An Essay on Insipidity II
A downloadable game for Windows
The unmerciful winter is at its peak once again.
When animals vanish from the face of the earth, and the crops die.
You don't have any food left, and your family is slowly starving.
You need to traverse a long way to find some food.
A couple of villages ahead, if you're lucky.
But remember: the cold waits for no one.
About
An Essay on Insipidity II, also known as Essay II, is an adventure-esque game that follows the tragedy of a peasant and hunter named Arkhip, which finds himself in the middle of a harsh winter alongside his family, who are almost famishing. With no other options, Arkhip goes out of his home on a journey in hopes to trade their last pouch of money with the local communities for food.
Said journey will also take him deep inside his own soul.
Features
- Entirely made in RTP (is this even a feature?);
- 20-40 minutes of gameplay;
- No battles at all;
- Lots of dialogue;
- Lots of walking;
- Yeah, there's not much for this one, I know.
This game was, like the last one, made in one week in RPG Maker MZ. This time, made for the "Trials of MZ" RMN Event.
